Configuration Management Expert for EWIS Sustainment

At KBR, we are seeking a skilled Configuration Management Expert to support our EWIS - Joint and Air sustainment programs. As a key member of our team, you will provide configuration knowledge to facilitate technical and engineering activities, ensuring quality and compliance with relevant legislative, policy, and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Sustainment management unit (SMU) to ensure seamless execution of tasks and projects.
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of engineering systems and processes, including SAE 649C configuration principles, to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Configuration Management and Data Management (CM/DM), offering guidance and advice to SMU members from diverse backgrounds.
- Monitor and track compliance with policies and procedures, resolving or escalating any issues that may arise.
- Facilitate CM and DM audits, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
- Mentor others on CM/DM services, concepts, policies, and procedures, promoting knowledge sharing and capacity building within the organization.
- Collaborate with the configuration control board (CCB) to enact changes as directed, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Data Management principles, ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and securely stored in accordance with CASG QMSE requirements.
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications or possess equivalent industry experience.
- Possess a minimum of 7 years' experience in a Defence or related technical industry, with a strong focus on configuration management and data management.
