As a skilled Light Vehicle Mechanic, you will play a vital role in the maintenance and repair of light vehicles. This position involves ongoing repairs and servicing of company fleets, ensuring that vehicles are safe and reliable for use.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on light vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and rectify faults across suspension, brakes, drivetrains, and engine systems, thereby enhancing vehicle performance and efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records, job cards, and service reports to facilitate effective communication and monitoring of vehicle maintenance
  • Support workshop and field-based servicing operations across project sites, contributing to the overall success of the organization
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure safety, efficiency, and vehicle availability, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Requirements:
  • Trade Qualification - Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent, demonstrating expertise in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • 2-5 years' experience in a servicing or fleet maintenance environment, showcasing proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex issues
  • Experience with Toyota vehicles or dealerships is highly desirable, given the company's preference for this brand
  • Current Australian Manual Driver's Licence and White Card, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • A proactive team player with strong diagnostic skills, a commitment to safety and quality, and excellent communication skills
