We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our data team on a business transformation project in Sydney, Australia.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst with property fund, actuarial or financial accounting experience to work alongside the data team. You will be part of a high-performance data team that will see you exposed to a wide range of assets and could gain a broad range of experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the business analysis of metrics specific to financial domains, working with business stakeholders in refining the metrics definitions.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers and data modellers to develop datasets and data models.
  • Engage with stakeholders to develop conceptual and physical user interfaces for dashboards.
  • Work with the testing team to discuss, resolve and support SIT and UAT.
  • Highlight reporting-related risks and issues to the project management team.
  • Coordinate with technical, functional and business stakeholders to enable successful delivery of financial metrics and dashboards.
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and showcases.
About You

Ideal candidates will have previous experience as a Fund Accountant / Trust Accountant / Property Accountant or from a funds administration background.

Property funds experience is desirable, however candidates with equity funds experience will also be considered.

Salary Information

The salary for this role is approximately $800 per day, including superannuation, based in Sydney, Australia.
