We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Tax Consultant to join our Indirect Tax team. As a Senior Tax Consultant, you will be responsible for researching and drafting written advice on GST, payroll tax, stamp duty, and fuel tax credits.
Key responsibilities include:
- Researching and drafting written advice for tax purposes.
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS returns.
- Researching tax legislation and providing technical support to the manager and partner group.
About You
- University degree qualified in Accounting and/or Law.
- 4-6 years' experience as a tax professional in a specialist taxation consulting role.
- Previous Indirect Tax experience in mid-tier or Big 4 firms is advantageous.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to draft technical tax advice.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
