We are seeking a senior pipelines engineer to join our team in Brisbane or Melbourne for a 12-month contract.
About the RoleDue to growth in our team, we are looking for an experienced engineer to work on various pipeline projects in Australia and PNG at different stages of design and ongoing pipeline impact assessment studies.
You will have the chance to be part of a team driven by a common purpose – delivering a more sustainable world.
Main Responsibilities- Apply recognized engineering practices applicable to onshore pipeline design
- E nsure design compliance with client guidelines and procedures, national regulations, environmental constraints, and quality requirements
- Provide cost and schedule estimates for proposals
- Plan and execute pipeline activities to maintain the schedule
- Mentor and provide technical directions to team members when required
- Identify, assess, and communicate project delivery risks and assist in developing plans and solutions for mitigation and change management
- A recognized and relevant engineering degree
- RPEQ / RPEV and IEPNG registration
- Possess experience in design and construction of CS pipeline per AS2885
- Have experience in material selection, fracture control plans, and line pipe specifications
- Thorough knowledge of the HDPE Gas and Water network design and APGA Code of Practice
- Proven knowledge of pipeline construction support, Pipeline design reviews, safety management studies, and risk reviews, in accordance with APGA CoP and its companion papers, guidelines, procedures, standards, and local HSE regulations and environmental constraints
