Senior Network Engineer Opportunity

A leading Financial Services organization in Sydney is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with expertise in Multicast, Data Centre (VXLAN / EVPN) and BGP / OSPF to join their team on a permanent basis.

You will be part of a critical, fast-paced multi-year program to build a new trading network. Your key responsibilities will include designing, deploying, and supporting this new network, working across multiple streams to ensure timely project delivery.

This role requires collaboration with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors. You must be able to adapt to changing priorities in a fluid project environment.

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant vendor certifications
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering network engineering solutions in large, complex environments
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in building and deploying network solutions in large datacentre environments
  • Superior knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF
  • Previous experience working with Multicast would be highly regarded
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
