Aged Care Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at BallyCara, a charitable organisation that offers a wellness-focused lifestyle for seniors. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to help our clients live comfortably and independently in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide domestic support services to clients, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Build positive relationships with clients and their families, offering emotional support and companionship.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and report any changes in clients' needs or conditions to the Team Leader.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.

Essential Requirements- Enrolled in or studying towards a Certificate III Individual Support, Aged Care, or Community, or current nursing students with completed aged care placement is not mandatory but highly regarded.
- Previous experience in aged care or community services.
- Basic computer skills and accurate documentation.
- Ability to work independently and report to a supervisor.
- Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude towards aging.
- Current Australian Open Drivers License, reliable vehicle, National Police Check, first-aid and CPR certificates, and COVID-19 vaccination status as per the Government recommendations.
