We are seeking an Operations Automation Technician to join our team in Brisbane. This role will play a key part in ensuring the security of our Tolling and Traffic Management systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of testing methodologies and experience with automation tools. They will be responsible for conducting comprehensive security testing, identifying anomalies, and proposing new test cases. Additionally, they will collaborate with our Cybersecurity and Tolling teams to improve testing processes and strategies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough security testing of Kapsch developed Tolling and Traffic Management systems after updates and vulnerability patches.
  • Identifying anomalies introduced by system updates.
  • Executing and documenting test cases to ensure thorough coverage and traceability.
  • Participating in the design and implementation of test strategies, plans, and procedures.
  • Maintaining strong knowledge of testing methodologies.
  • Investigating different automation tools and proposing suitable ones according to our technologies.
  • Liaising with Application Center and other Testing Teams to collaboratively improve testing processes and strategies.
  • Communicating test results, findings, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborating with the Cybersecurity team to assess the potential impact of new vulnerabilities on the systems through system testing.
