About Us

We're seeking a skilled and safety-focused individual to join our team on a permanent full-time basis at the QCoal Northern Hub.

The successful candidate will be a key player in keeping our fleet moving, working hands-on with some of the biggest equipment in mining.

  • Removing and fitting rims and wheel assemblies on heavy earthmoving equipment
  • Refitting and maintaining tyres to the highest safety standards
  • Performing regular tyre pressure checks, adjustments, and reports
  • Using technical manuals, bulletins, and computer-based systems to guide your work
  • Proactively identifying issues before they become problems

Your Role

Our ideal candidate will bring experience, precision, and a passion for getting the job done right.

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a tyre fitter (mining or heavy earthmoving preferred)
  • Hold current AUR21920 Cert II in Automotive Tyre Servicing or equivalent qualifications
  • Solid post-trade experience in the mining, heavy earthmoving, or hydraulic excavator industries
  • A proactive, safety-first attitude and strong teamwork skills
