Job Title:

Civil Infrastructure Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Infrastructure Manager to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the planning and delivery of civil infrastructure projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the delivery of civil infrastructure work ensuring it is completed to a high standard.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project outcomes.
  • Review drawings and contract documentation, communicating amendments as required.
  • Manage supply of goods and services to meet project requirements.
  • Develop tender and contract documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in reviewing processes and procedures to improve project outcomes.
  • Create, maintain and store project documentation for future reference.
  • Identify and report on operational risk.
  • Demonstrate commitment to workplace health and safety (WHS) and management of safety risk.
Requirements:
  • Extensive construction, engineering or trade experience with technical expertise specific to infrastructure projects.
  • Degree, Diploma or Trade Certificate relevant to the field.
  • C Class licence.
  • Diploma in Project Management - desirable.
Essential Skills:
  • Well-developed knowledge and experience in Civil Construction.
  • Understanding of major components of civil design practices.
  • Experience in managing and administering construction projects & contractors.
  • Experience in financial management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong consultation skills.
Desirable Skills:
  • Ability to understand and interpret landscape plans & drawings.
Working Conditions:

This role requires working in an office environment and onsite at construction sites. Travel may be required.
