Civil Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

You will be responsible for supporting project teams in undertaking civil infrastructure construction, rehabilitation, inspection, servicing, and maintenance activities. Your role will involve guiding and assisting other employees as part of a work team and planning complex work activities to achieve project outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include quantifying and identifying materials, subcontractors, and services required during construction, coordinating the activities of a small work group to achieve desired outcomes, and exercising high precision operative skill when using roadmaking plant, small machinery, and equipment, and trade skill when performing civil construction works.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Certificate III in Civil Construction applicable to modern transport infrastructure projects or ability to acquire one within 36 months.
  • Ability to travel throughout the operational unit and/or the state consistent with industry standards.
  • Participation in the Civil Trades Development Program (CTDP) is mandatory.
