A Trades Assistant Labourer is required to provide support to tradespeople on various job sites in paint and blast operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support tradesperson on-site with day-to-day tasks
  • Prepare all required tools, materials, and equipment for the job
  • Maintain and clean blasting equipment as needed
  • Shadow tradesperson to provide hands-on support as needed
  • Perform sanding and spotting work as part of surface preparation
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow safety protocols and site procedures
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a construction or industrial environment is preferred
  • White card qualification
  • Ability to follow instructions and work closely with a team
  • Physically fit and capable of manual labour
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Basic knowledge of tools and materials used in the trade
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety standards
  • Industrial coatings or abrasive blasting experience (desirable)
