Base pay range

A$36.00/hr - A$37.00/hr

Our client has a passion for success with industry expertise to deliver exceptional services in paint and blast operations. They are seeking reliable and hardworking Trades Assistant (T/A) Labourers to support their tradespeople on various job sites. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are prepared, and will assist in general labour duties, preparation, and clean-up activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist tradesperson on-site with day-to-day tasks
• Prepare and set up all required tools, materials, and equipment for the job
• Fill, maintain, and clean blasting equipment as needed
• Shadow tradesperson to provide hands-on support as needed
• Perform sanding and spotting work as part of surface preparation
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety protocols and site procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a construction or industrial environment preferred
• White card
• Ability to follow instructions and work closely with a team
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Basic knowledge of tools and materials used in the trade
• Commitment to workplace health and safety standards
• Experience with industrial coatings or abrasive blasting (desirable)
