Job Title: Mechanical Designer


We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in Sydney. As a Mechanical Designer, you will work closely with a team of design engineers and drafters to design water & wastewater treatment plant projects.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate detail models & drawings using 3D software such as Inventor and AutoCAD, covering various disciplines including mechanical design, structural, plant design, piping, process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and general layouts.
  • Apply best-practice engineering principles and regulatory standards in the preparation of designs, ensuring drawings conform to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the project team to follow the scheduled program of production of drawings and project specifications, providing detailing support and knowledge to ensure the best outcome.
  • Liaise with external fabricators and stakeholders to assist with the correct interpretation and revision of drawings.
