Culinary Expert

Our community relies on skilled food preparers to provide exceptional dining experiences for our residents. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key responsibilities include assisting the Head Chef with menu planning, recipe development, and inventory management. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety guidelines and regulations.
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent time management skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements- Relevant culinary qualification (Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery)
- Demonstrated experience cooking in a cafe or restaurant setting
- Permanent working rights within Australia
- National Police Clearance
- Covid 19 Vaccinations (highly desirable)
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of Food Standards, WHS regulations, Food Hygiene regulations, and Food Safety (HACCP) guidelines
