About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our team at Pottery Barn Kids in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, leading a high-performing team, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Build and develop a strong team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Talent Acquisition and Development: Recruit, interview, and select qualified candidates to build a talent pipeline, and coach and train team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Store Operations: Ensure the store meets or exceeds sales, contest, and payroll goals, and maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure team members provide an exceptional customer experience, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Visual Merchandising: Maintain and uphold store standards, including visual displays, cleanliness, and signage.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, cash control, and minimize losses.
  • Performance Management: Develop and empower management team members to take on increased levels of responsibility, and ensure the store meets or exceeds sales and payroll goals.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in homewares and/or specialty retail.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, and drive sales growth.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to be mobile in the store and back-of-house areas, including standing for long periods, and lifting and mobilizing medium to large items.
