Job Summary:

  • The Grants Officer role is a critical position within the foundation, responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of grant making through established funding programmes.

About the Role:

  • Nurture great ideas by working with various organisations to bring them to life.
  • The successful candidate will have experience of working with the Voluntary, Charity, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector, which would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to actively listen to what communities need.
  • Inspire community organisations to apply to the fund, as no idea is too big or too small.
  • Possess a passion for making a difference in East Suffolk's diversity and its communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the grants team to deliver the foundation's grant making programme.
  • Nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including community organisations and other funders.

Requirements:

  • A great colleague and member of a small team.
  • Prepared to travel across the county at times and work occasionally in the evening or at weekends, representing the foundation.
