Job Description

The Lead Solution Architect will be responsible for shaping and defining the payments architecture across a portfolio of high-profile projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the architectural strategy for payments-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Designing and overseeing complex system integrations, ensuring seamless transactions across various platforms.
  • Providing technical leadership and governance, ensuring best practices in architecture and software development.
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Assessing risks and architectural challenges in a high-availability, high-security environment.

Key skills and experience required include:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Solution Architect in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Strong technical background in payments architecture, transactions, and system integrations.
  • Deep understanding of real-time payments, batch processing, APIs, microservices, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience working in a high-risk, high-complexity environment, ensuring security, compliance, and resilience.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
