Lead Solution Architect Role

We are seeking a technically strong Lead Solution Architect with expertise in designing world-class payments solutions. This role involves shaping and defining the payments architecture across a portfolio of high-profile projects.

  • Lead architectural strategy for payments-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and oversee complex system integrations, ensuring seamless transactions across various platforms.
  • Provide technical leadership and governance, ensuring best practices in architecture and software development.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Assess risks and architectural challenges in a high-availability, high-security environment.
  • Stay hands-on with technology, guiding engineering teams in implementing scalable and efficient solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-risk, high-complexity environment, ensuring security, compliance, and resilience. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and design payment systems that integrate seamlessly with multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Solution Architect in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Strong technical background in payments architecture, transactions, and system integrations.
  • Deep understanding of real-time payments, batch processing, APIs, microservices, and cloud technologies.
  • Experience working in a high-risk, high-complexity environment, ensuring security, compliance, and resilience.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
