  • Conduct regular workplace inspections, identify hazards, and perform thorough assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Deliver expert guidance across Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality compliance, ensuring seamless integration into project execution.
  • Provide professional input into work planning and risk assessments to ensure robust safety and quality measures are in place.
  • Identify and implement improvements across departments, fostering a culture of ongoing development.
  • Participate in incident investigations, using root cause analysis to identify issues and develop corrective actions.
  • Review and refine work procedures to enhance hazard control measures, operational safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental management plans and compliance with relevant legislation.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Adviser in the water industry.
  • A relevant bachelor's degree or higher qualification in a highly relevant area of study.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Australian safety legislation and standards.
  • Expertise in conducting audits, investigations, and workplace inspections.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • A valid driver's license and demonstrated driving competency for travel to project sites.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with a focus on continuous improvement.
