About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Plant Engineer to support our construction operations. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe and efficient use of plant and equipment.

The successful candidate will have 2–3 years' site experience in plant engineering or a related field and a strong understanding of heavy plant and equipment used in foundations and bridge construction.

Key responsibilities include planning, mobilising and coordinating heavy plant and equipment, monitoring utilisation and performance, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.

  • Plan, mobilise and coordinate heavy plant and equipment for piling, foundations and bridge construction.
  • Monitor utilisation, performance and implement preventative maintenance programs.
  • Provide technical advice on plant selection, capabilities and safe operating procedures.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, plant specifications and maintenance schedules.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage and build rapport with subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
