Job Title: Data Center Engineering Operations Trainee

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in data center engineering operations, working on the forefront of Amazon's cutting-edge infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of physical security protocols and have experience with Office Suite software. A degree or technical certification in a related field is highly valued.

We are seeking an individual who can work effectively in cramped spaces or elevated locations while prioritizing health and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance.
  • Assist in managing contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with established practices, procedures, and local legislation.
  • Generate Change Management requests and Incident Management tickets as directed.
  • Learns and contributes to documentation relevant to business and facility operations.
  • Assists with the installation of racks and provision of power/cooling within constraints.
  • Involved in routine maintenance and emergency services for critical systems such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and more.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of physical security protocols.
  • Experience with Office Suite software.
  • Degree or technical certification in a related field.
  • Able to work in cramped spaces or elevated locations.
