Sales Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Development Manager to join our market-leading sales team in Newcastle. As an integral part of our successful team, you will play a crucial role in sales and development within our Automatic Doors account base. In this role, you will represent our market-leading automatic entrance, door control, security, and glass fittings solutions from a sales perspective, while contributing to our broad and market-leading product portfolio.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Building and enhancing relationships with customers, clients, and partners
  • Providing sales support for the designated territory
  • Understanding customer requirements and aligning them with our suite of access solutions and services
  • Developing integral relationships with key stakeholders and influencers in the target customer base
  • Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to fully understand the market, customers, products, regulations, and current standards
  • Ensuring fulfillment of goals in sales, profit, and cash flow, ensuring alignment with budgeted requirements
  • Efficiently managing the interface between the area and region
  • Fostering a customer-centric culture
  • Acting as the face of Dormakaba in the industry as an industry expert

YOUR SKILLS

  • Strong focus on relationship development and territory management
  • Experience in consultative and solutions-based sales
  • Background in aluminum, glazing, or allied construction industries with a focus on B2B sales (advantageous, but not essential)
  • Experience with Salesforce would be advantageous, but not essential
