Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the security team, you will be responsible for championing our vision and values, supporting colleagues and delivering outstanding service to internal and external stakeholders.

This role requires strong motivation, enthusiasm, and a results-driven approach. You will work closely with senior security professionals to achieve set goals and deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with senior security engineers to drive success in achieving set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Remediate assigned incidents swiftly and effectively.
  • Make significant contributions to audit and remediation projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in IT or cybersecurity.
  • Strong understanding of current business technologies and concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools.
  • Knowledge/experience in Microsoft 365, Azure Security Centre, Azure, and/or AWS, with relevant security best practices on these platforms.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role within a traditional managed services provider.
  • Strong knowledge of current business technologies and concepts, demonstrated through previous customer or referee references.
  • Hands-on experience managing and maintaining SIEM tools such as Splunk, Azure Sentinel, and vulnerability management tools like Tenable and Nessus.
  • Windows support and troubleshooting experience - Windows 7-11.
  • Networking fundamentals knowledge; CCNA or equivalent preferred.
  • Windows Server management (2008 to 2022).
