Baker Job Description

We are seeking an experienced baker to join our team in a commercial bakery setting.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in making a wide range of breads, rolls, pies, pastries, and specialty products.

About the Position:
  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Baking all types of breads, including speciality breads, sourdough loaves, bagels, baguettes, English muffins, and ciabatta.
  • Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, shaping, proofing, and baking with a high quality finish.
  • Making a variety of breads, rolls, and pastry products according to our in-house menu.
  • Key Tasks:
  • Baking of all kinds of pies, pasties, sausage rolls, and other savory items.
  • Operating machinery and equipment, including hand scaling and moulding.
  • Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.
  • Essential Skills:
  • Stock control, ordering, and quality control.
  • Maintaining high food safety standards throughout the production process.
