Established bakery in Melbourne seeks skilled individual to join its team as a baker.

The Role:

Enthusiasm, willingness to learn and take direction are essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong teamwork and co-operation skills, working alongside fellow production team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily production and preparation of dough and loaves for upcoming days' baking.
  • Take pride in learning and perfecting the way bread is shaped.
  • Ensure consistent, efficient and reliable performance.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Thorough understanding of bread production procedures.
  • Support and assist all team members whenever possible.
  • Execute orders of production in a timely and accurate manner each day.
  • Maintain safe and responsible operation of equipment used.
  • Prepare and pack down boards and equipment for following days' production.

Requirements:

Candidates should have previous experience in a bakery environment. A competitive salary, ongoing training and opportunities for career progression are offered.
