As a Post Placement Support Specialist at APM, your role will be to monitor and provide post placement support to participants in employment, identify barriers to ongoing employment and provide a solution-focused approach to assist the participant in maintaining employment.
This role is a key part of our team's efforts to support individuals in achieving their employment goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide post placement support to participants in employment, including monitoring their progress and identifying any barriers to ongoing employment.
- Develop and implement solution-focused approaches to assist participants in maintaining employment.
- Work closely with participants, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful employment outcomes.
- Conduct regular check-ins with participants to discuss their progress, goals, and any challenges they may be facing.
- Identify and address any systemic barriers to employment, such as lack of access to education or training, and work with stakeholders to develop solutions.
- Collaborate with other team members to share best practices and ensure consistency in our approach to post placement support.
Requirements:
- Experience in employment services or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work unsupervised in challenging environments.
- Proven experience working in a high-performance driven environment.
- Demonstrable ability to build positive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- High degree of self-motivation.
- Strong engagement and relationship building skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel suites of programs.
Essential Requirements:
- Eligible to work in Australia.
- Current driver's licence.
- Access to a comprehensively insured vehicle for work purposes.
- Criminal history check.
- Working with Children Check.
