About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to lead high-profile projects across Sydney from concept to completion. As a key member of our team, you will apply and develop your technical skills to creatively tackle complex engineering problems and deliver high-quality and detailed designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design development and manage the quality of deliverables produced by the project team
  • Represent the company on projects, managing and developing valuable relationships with project partners, including architects, consultants, project managers, and builders
  • Apply and develop technical skills to creatively tackle complex engineering problems and deliver high-quality and detailed designs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Postgraduate qualifications an advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of engineering design experience within an engineering consultancy
  • Solid understanding of Australian Building Codes and Standards and their application
  • Experience in the development of value management and value engineering concepts
  • Experience producing technical reports and developing ideas that add value to a project
  • Proficient in the use of Civil 3D or 12D software, and experience using other relevant software, including DRAINS, MUSIC, Swept Path Analysis (e.g. AutoTURN), CIRCLY, AutoCAD, BricsCAD, HEC-RAS, and XP-RAFTS
  • Experience in civil design works for urban development, including buildings projects, subdivisions, roads, pavements, and public domain areas
  • Experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, with sound knowledge of ARR 2019, design of minor and major drainage systems, design of OSD systems, WSUD strategy development, and water quality modelling
