About the Role

We are seeking an Admissions Officer (Domestic) to join our Admissions team at Dixon Appointments. This role is crucial for processing VTAC applications and domestic direct applications, as well as assessing Advanced Standing requests and conducting essential evaluations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in processing domestic student applications, including:
    • Entering direct applications into Student One Web (CiAnywhere).
    • Ensuring all required documentation is received.
    • Processing deferral requests and meeting agreed processing timelines.
    • Preparing and issuing correspondence, including rejection letters and requests for further information.
    • Assessing applications according to university policies and procedures.
    • Conducting Pre-Training Reviews and Skills First assessments.
  • Participate in regular reviews of Admissions processes, identifying issues and contributing to process improvements.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing high-quality customer service and support to prospective students.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in admissions or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with VTAC processes and higher education admissions policies is a plus.
