Career Development Opportunities: Payroll Officer

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to manage all aspects of an end-to-end fortnightly payroll as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and responding promptly to payroll queries across the region, preparing payroll reports as required, and continuously improving processes through streamlining and automation. Additionally, they will support audit and compliance activities.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years payroll experience within a medium to large organisation, along with experience using Micropay. You should also possess solid knowledge of Australian payroll and HR legislation, as well as exposure to award/IR payroll provisions and variable pay provisions. An attention to detail and urgency to meet deadlines are essential, along with a proactive attitude and ability to pick up processes quickly.
