Job Title: Unit Care Leader
The Nursing Unit Manager role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care and services, ensuring they meet required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Services: The Unit Care Leader will be responsible for the operational management and leadership of nursing staff to provide excellent patient-centred care.
- Ward or Unit Management: The leader will manage the day-to-day operations of the ward or unit, including staff supervision and performance management.
- Staff Management: The Unit Care Leader will lead a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Ideal Candidate
- Current Registration with AHPRA.
- Proven clinical management and leadership experience in a tertiary health care facility.
- Holds or working towards relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in quality and change management promoting clinical excellence.
Requirements
To be eligible for this role, applicants must have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
