Assistant Retail Store ManagerThe Assistant Retail Store Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales, achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
As a key member of the retail team, you will be responsible for managing daily store operations, leading a team of sales assistants, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
You will support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and KPIs, manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and visual merchandising. Additionally, you will lead a team of sales assistants, providing coaching, guidance, and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.

- Sales Performance: Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets;
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of sales assistants to deliver exceptional customer service and sales performance;
- Store Operations: Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and visual merchandising;
- Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional customer experiences through effective communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution;
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably with a similar company;
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to make informed decisions;
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred;
- Full-time Australian work rights required.
