Job Overview:

The Vehicle Logistics Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, security and efficiency of our vehicle yards. This involves developing and implementing effective protocols to safeguard personnel, cargo and facilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maximise space utilisation and workflow optimisation
  • Serve as a dedicated point of contact for logistics activities, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Supervise and manage a team of yard personnel
  • Collaborate closely with vendors in 2PL and 3PL networks
  • Maintain records and provide reports on damage claims
  • Analyse complex problems and devise effective solutions
  • Build collaborative relationships with the Logistics team
  • Communicate relevant information across all organisational levels and partner networks

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in yard management or facilities management
  • Proficiency in using computer and mobile phone applications, including in-house logistics software
  • Able to work under high pressure in fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with First Aid principles would be advantageous
  • Good physical fitness is essential

This role requires prolonged periods of standing and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
