We are seeking a dedicated Better Futures Practitioner to join our team at Cafs, a community service organisation that has been making a difference in the lives of children, young people, and their families for over 156 years.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in empowering young people to overcome challenges, unlock their potential, and build brighter stronger futures through the Better Futures program. This program provides intensive support for young people with a care experience, focusing on housing, education, employment, health, and wellbeing.

Key skills and attributes required for this role include:

  • A strong desire to deliver good outcomes for young people
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience in trauma-informed principles and approaches
  • Confidence in recommending, designing, and implementing new procedures and processes
  • Strong organisational skills to support administration requirements
  • Highly developed cultural awareness and sensitivity, coupled with excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders

The salary range for this position is $85,284 - $91,746 pro rata, plus superannuation and generous salary packaging options. We offer above award entitlements, including three days paid Christmas Leave and the opportunity to purchase additional leave.
