Job Description

This is a permanent full-time position based in our office. It's an exciting new opportunity for an Electrical Estimator to be part of our team, assisting with the development and implementation of consistent, high quality estimating processes.

This role is also available to suit either an estimator or electrical trades professional who has a desire to transition into Estimating full time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and managing cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions/proposals for various design, fabrication, and construction projects
  • Consulting with internal teams
  • Engaging with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Interpreting contract documentation, plans, building processes and procedures, relevant legislation, standards, and codes
  • Coordinating the overall tender submission process from quantity take-offs and project costing through to analysis of tender documentation and submission preparation
Requirements
  • Established in the construction Industry – Preferably WA experience
  • Electrical Trade Qualification
  • Electrical Engineering Degree (Preferred but not mandatory)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in similar role
  • Experience in multiple electrical sectors - infrastructure, defence, resources
  • Ability to use expert estimation software
  • Ability to understand how to build up self-performed work crews
  • MUST hold valid Australian Working Rights
