About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to spearhead our IT Security practice. The successful candidate will bring skills in NIST, ISO 27001, Cyber Security, ISMS, and a technology background.

  • Tertiary qualification in information technology or cyber security
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in IT and/or information security experience
  • Exposure to IT security operations in a large enterprise or critical infrastructure environments
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, particularly in liaising between business and IT functions to initiate and implement the development, delivery, and support of solutions
  • Working knowledge of SOCI Act, ITIL, privacy legislation, Essential Eight, NIST, and ISO 2700x
  • In-depth understanding of security and analytical concepts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective IT security strategies and practices
  • Liaise with stakeholders to identify and mitigate security risks
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain security policies and procedures

Requirements:
