We are seeking an exceptional professional to lead our Risk and Compliance function at a prestigious organisation.
This role can be based anywhere in Australia, with a hybrid arrangement that requires working at least three days a week in the office.
Senior Manager Regulatory Breach ReportingIn this key leadership position, you will play a critical part in driving compliance excellence and ensuring our organisation meets relevant regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor and develop the Regulatory Breach Reporting and Compliance team in providing expert compliance advisory services and support on compliance incidents and breach reporting.
- Develop and enhance comprehensive incident and breach management frameworks, policies and processes that enable effective risk management.
- Undertake compliance assessments of compliance incidents to support regulatory breach assessment processes. Present compliance assessments to relevant stakeholders as required.
- Provide compliance advice, insights and trends to key stakeholders including boards, committees and other forums.
- Prepare reporting to regulators in respect of investigations, breaches and responding to regulatory requests for information.
- Lead governance of relevant forums including preparation of supporting documentation and minutes.
- Experienced compliance or legal professional with proven leadership exposure in regulatory compliance, incident and breach management within the Australian financial services industry.
- Experience working in or providing services to a regulated financial services organisation, with a strong understanding of regulatory obligations and ability to interpret associated legislative requirements.
- Ability to rapidly analyse and communicate complex matters in a commercially sensible way.
- Ability to provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders on compliance incidents.
- Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Risk Management systems, frameworks and processes particularly in respect of incident and breach reporting.
