Digital Systems Specialist

**Job Opportunity**
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Systems Officer to support technical and business teams, lead improvement initiatives, investigate and analyse development opportunities, and operate the support triage system.
This role involves working with the team to support the eCommerce gateway, online digital publishing and XML production workflow, identifying, analysing and articulating new solutions and opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the operation and maintenance of digital publishing systems and platforms.
- Providing technical support and advice to ensure business continuity and continuous improvement.
- Monitoring business metrics and taking appropriate actions as needed.
- Communicating effectively and respectfully with all staff, clients and suppliers in the interests of good business practice, collaboration and enhancement of our reputation.
Eligibility requirements include tertiary qualifications in a relevant area such as IT or equivalent experience, experience in RMDBs (Oracle and MSSQL), excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to quickly understand, articulate and analyse business and technical challenges and opportunities.
Desirable skills include experience in software development, web development, Java, Python or ColdFusion, preparing technical documentation, supporting the continuous improvement of web technology and service offerings, and publishing experience or understanding.
