Job Title: Digital Preservation Specialist
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Digital Preservation Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining core library systems within a team setting.
Key Responsibilities- System Implementation: Develop and implement effective workflows for core library systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide timely and effective troubleshooting support for system-related issues, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve complex problems.
- Project Planning and Management: Participate in project planning, consult on outcomes and timelines, and complete project work within specified timeframes, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholders on cross-functional projects, fostering strong relationships and effective communication to drive project success.
- Innovation and Expertise: Utilize sharp analytical and conceptual thinking, combined with technical expertise, to provide innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Operational Requirements: Respond to day-to-day operational requirements, including project work, system troubleshooting, test plan development, configuration, upgrades, workflow exploration, or user training for core library systems and digital environments.
- Technical Expertise: Offer technical expertise to support key projects, assist in maintaining detailed documentation, and contribute to delivering innovative solutions and systems maintenance.
- Team Collaboration: Support team members with system implementation tasks, data extraction, configuration, data manipulation, testing, and project work as needed.
