Mechanical Project Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Delivering 4 Customers, a consortium of industry leading Tier 1 organisations. Our client, Sydney Water, has partnered with us to deliver design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services across their southern region.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the project team, focusing on the upgrade of pumps, pipework, switchboards, and valves on pumping stations, odour control and chemical dosing units.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Construction Leads to ensure allocated projects are delivered within time, cost, quality and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement daily, weekly and long-term project programs to achieve required project outputs.
- Monitor and review costs, invoices and claims for allocated projects.
- Contribute to constructability reviews and design development.
- Evaluate and award subcontract procurement packages.
- Ensure the quality and quantities of incoming equipment and material align with drawings and specifications.
- Analyse project documentation, progress reporting, and compliance reporting.
- Manage the performance of subcontractors and Self-Perform Workforce.
- Liaise with external parties and statutory authorities as necessary.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction, Construction Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 5-10 years' engineering experience.
- A valid NSW Driver's Licence.
- A current White Card.
