Embark on a challenging career as a Graduate Building Surveyor with our esteemed organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, managing and maintaining technical processes to assess and review projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess project documentation and communicate effectively with clients to ensure compliance with the Building Act and Regulation and Building Code of Australia.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of job files and other office systems, leveraging your strong organizational skills.
  • Develop comprehensive technical reports highlighting compliance requirements and recommendations for projects.
  • Maintain open communication channels with authorities and councils through timely and accurate notification of requests for information.
  • Support the Business Unit team as required, contributing to the day-to-day management/assessment of projects.
Requirements:
  • Possess a University degree or equivalent formal qualification in construction, recognized by the AIBS/RICS.
  • Demonstrate technical competence commensurate with a Graduate Building Surveyor's role.
  • Exhibit effective management ability relative to workload.
  • Accurately and efficiently check documentation.
  • Complete tasks assigned or initiated in consultation and approval from Senior Building Surveyor.
  • Manage time to accommodate clients' requests effectively.
  • Work independently while communicating effectively.
  • Maintain attention to detail and adhere to targets and deadlines.
  • Demonstrate initiative in improving processes and procedures.
