About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Draftsperson to join our team at Mono Constructions, a leading construction company based in Rydalmere. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the architectural direction of our business and maintaining design excellence throughout all stages of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architectural detailing and coordination of internal and external schedules
  • Ensuring consistency between Concept, DA, CC, and Marketing documentation
  • Identifying design opportunities and efficiencies across all our products
  • Coordinating with external consultants and incorporating their information into Architectural packages
  • Assisting in the development of company protocols for document transmission systems
  • Collaborating with design, construction, and estimation departments to ensure design intent is followed through and resolving any detailing issues prior to construction
  • Supporting Construction Managers, Architects, and Surveyors in planning and organization
  • Interpreting plans, regulations, and codes of practice
  • Preparing preliminary sketches, working drawings, and specifications
  • Inspecting work and materials for compliance with specifications, regulations, and standards
  • Calculating costs and estimating time scales
  • Collecting data using surveying instruments and photogrammetric equipment
  • Performing routine computations and plotting preliminary data
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Architecture
  • General Construction Induction White Card
  • At least 5 years' post-graduate experience
  • Medium-density residential experience (preferred)
  • Strong architectural detailing skills for stick-built residential
  • Detailed knowledge of BCA and housing/apartment construction methods
  • Revit experience of minimum 5-7 years with concept to detailed documentation
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
