Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of drawings using AutoCAD and other design/drafting software in the field of engineering, projects range from architecture & interiors, civil infrastructure, transport and water
- Collaborate with senior team members on various technical tasks and take guidance in support of your role
- Develop your knowledge of GHD's Corporate Drafting Manual and other relevant systems, tools and processes
- Attend TAFE or University and maintain requirements of a Traineeship or Cadetship, which will include a combination of work-based training and formal training
- QCE (or equivalent) completion with strong academic results in Mathematics and English
- Experience in AutoCAD desirable but not essential
- Strong desire to build a rewarding career as a professional drafter/designer
- Well-developed communication skills and a proven attention to detail
- Intermediate computer skills coupled with a positive attitude and a desire to learn
- Genuine interest in technical drawing and engineering
