Tax Staff Job Description

Our organization is seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our tax staff as a tax expert.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare complex tax returns for corporate, partnership, and individual clients.
  • Support other projects for clients in various industries.

Key Initiatives:

  • Performance: Complete assignments efficiently, achieve productivity goals, and participate in initiatives to enhance firm operations.
  • Growth Strategy: Represent the organization, build relationships, develop leadership skills, and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Client Focus: Develop knowledge of tax rules and regulations, demonstrate sound judgment, and work collaboratively with team members and client personnel.
  • Brand Culture/Development: Embody brand attributes, adhere to policies and procedures, demonstrate teamwork and conflict resolution skills, and seek feedback on performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
  • Strong proficiency in technology and basic PC applications (Excel, Word).

Reporting Structure:

  • Staff will report directly to a Performance Manager who will provide guidance on administrative issues and work performance.
