Facilities Contract Manager

Milestone IT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Contract Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facilities management, including service contracts and biomedical equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Manage Facilities Management Plans: Create and implement comprehensive facilities management plans that encompass preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and ongoing service contracts.
- Procure and Negotiate Service Contracts: Oversee the procurement, negotiation, and management of service contracts for various facilities needs, including cleaning, security, and landscaping.
- Lead a Team of Contract Coordinators: Manage a team of Contracts Coordinators, providing guidance, mentorship, and ensuring their success in contract administration.
- Maintain Biomedical Equipment Inventory and Schedule: Maintain a comprehensive inventory and service schedule for all biomedical equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimal performance.
- Build and Maintain Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, fostering open communication and collaborative problem-solving.
- Monitor Service Delivery and Identify Areas for Improvement: Monitor service delivery, identify areas for improvement, and negotiate cost-effective solutions.
- Manage Budgets and Prepare Reports: Manage budgets for facilities management contracts and equipment maintenance, and prepare comprehensive reports outlining contract performance and equipment health.
- Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Minimum 5 Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
- Proven Track Record: Proven track record of successfully managing and negotiating service contracts.
- Facilities Maintenance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of facilities maintenance best practices and preventative maintenance strategies.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Experience in managing a team and fostering a positive work environment, with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Project Management and Contract Administration: Proficient in project management methodologies and contract administration software.
