About the Position:

The Procurement Commercial Manager plays a pivotal role in subcontractor contract management, ensuring alignment with commercial standards and broader regulatory compliance.

This role involves driving contractual compliance to ensure optimal contractual, finance, and relationships with our subcontractors for new projects.

The successful candidate will lead commercial governance during the project phase, collaborating closely with the project team, legal, engineering, sales leads, and procurement.

Key responsibilities include closing commercial negotiations with suppliers, governing subcontract execution, providing guidance and practical support in claims, EOT, contract correspondence, and contract administration.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Law, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or Construction Management.

Demonstrated experience in contract management for EPC, D&C, or LTSA is required, along with proven expertise in contract negotiation and project risk management.

The successful candidate will also possess strong financial reporting skills, the ability to analyse financial information, and exceptional organisational and time management skills.

We are seeking a proactive, energetic individual with a keen appetite for knowledge and problem-solving who can build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Business, Law, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or Construction Management).
  • Relevant work experience in a related industry including energy, engineering, or construction.
  • A minimum of 5 years managing large-scale projects is required, preferably in the energy, infrastructure, or construction sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract management for EPC, D&C or LTSA
  • Proven expertise in contract negotiation and project risk management.
  • Proficient in project management practices.
  • Proven ability to engage with senior leadership.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate experience to autonomously contract manage of complex agreements
  • Strong financial reporting skills and ability to analyse financial information
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A proactive, energetic individual with a keen appetite for knowledge and problem-solving
