Product Quality Specialist – Handbags and Soft Accessories

We are seeking a Product Quality Specialist to join our team, focusing on handbags and soft accessories. This role requires expertise in product construction and materials, ensuring every item meets the highest standards.

  • This is an opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including buyers, compliance officers, and product technicians, to drive quality assurance and compliance across the entire product lifecycle.
  • As a Product Quality Specialist, you will lead quality processes with local suppliers, investigating inspection failures and escalated customer complaints. You will also conduct store audits and support customer satisfaction initiatives.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in handbags and soft accessories, with a deep understanding of product construction and materials. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to navigate challenges and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage quality processes with local suppliers, ensuring compliance with standards and resolving inspection failures and escalated customer complaints.
  • Conduct store audits and support customer satisfaction initiatives.
  • Collaborate with buying and design teams to ensure product construction, safety, and quality standards are met during development.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and coordinate training with compliance teams and third-party partners.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in handbags and soft accessories with a deep understanding of product construction and materials.
  • Exceptional attention to detail ensuring every product meets high standards.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with buyers, compliance, and product technicians.
  • Experience in quality assurance and compliance, including supplier engagement and issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to navigate challenges and drive continuous improvement.
