Job OverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced Department Manager to lead our team in Bayswater. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving sales growth, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Support the Management Team in maintaining store efficiency and implementing effective processes.
- Drive sales growth by achieving KPI targets and exceeding departmental goals.
- Lead your team to deliver outstanding customer service, embodying our company values through leadership and mentorship.
- Efficiently manage high-volume stock, maintaining inventory integrity and managing stocktake initiatives.
- Execute merchandising plans to align with business standards and launch successful catalogue campaigns.
- Recruit and train new team members to build a high-performing department that aligns with our culture and goals.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Retail management experience is essential.
- Experience in high-volume stock management is highly preferred.
- An owner's mindset to lead your team with pride and responsibility.
- A positive, goal-oriented attitude to inspire and motivate your team.
- Strong communication skills to lead and mentor effectively.
- First aid certification or willingness to complete training at our expense.
- Strong computer skills to manage inventory and reporting tools.
- Visual merchandising and store presentation skills to work with planograms and promotional activities.
- Business acumen to work with sales and stock reports daily.
