About the Role

Take a lead in financial governance and drive continuous improvement as a Financial Governance Specialist.

We're looking for a skilled finance professional to join our team in a pivotal role that combines technical accounting, audit coordination, and policy oversight.

  • Prepare statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance with statutory standards.
  • Provide technical advice to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the ESG team in planning, preparation, and delivery of ESG and sustainability financial related disclosures.
  • Coordinate the external audit process, acting as the key liaison between auditors and internal teams.
  • Manage and update finance and accounting policies, ensuring alignment with evolving accounting standards.
  • Provide strategic updates to Board/Leadership on changes in financial reporting standards.
  • Execute core financial accounting tasks including general ledger postings, reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.

About You

As a technically strong and commercially aware finance professional, you thrive in a governance-focused role. Bring:

  • A background in chartered accounting, ideally gained at a Big Four firm, either making your first move into industry or already bringing industry experience.
  • A solid understanding of accounting standards and how they apply within a business context.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset and a passion for process improvement and financial integrity.
  • Experience in financial and sustainability reporting, policy development, and audit coordination.
