Casual Machine Operator Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our Beverages Team as a Casual Machine Operator at our manufacturing facility on the Central Coast, NSW.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on learning, enjoys physical work, and takes pride in developing deep expertise in processes. As a Casual Machine Operator, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality products while gaining expertise in our production processes.

You will work alongside a passionate, supportive team and report to the Senior Team Leader on the Night Shift. This is a casual position, which means that shifts will be provided to the successful candidate on an as needed basis.

Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities with other Beverage's areas for efficient and continuous operations.
  • Move product, restock materials and follow instructions as per the production process.
  • Record data as required and undertake product and quality testing.
  • Clean machinery and maintain hygiene in the production area.
  • Take part in continuous improvement activities.
Requirements and Skills
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in FMCG or similar industry.
  • Ability to undertake manual handling of up to 25kg.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
  • Ability to cope with pressures and setbacks in a constructive manner.
  • Ability to analyse information and make decisions accordingly.
  • Strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety.
  • Demonstrated experience driving a positive culture aligned to company values.
